Hatch & Raise Real Prehistoric Creatures with this Aquasaurs Habitat by Uncle Milton. Aquasaurs (Triops Longicaudatus) have existed for more than 350 million years. They are fresh water animals that belong to the class crustacea, and are related to shrimp, crabs and lobsters. Sometimes they're referred to as tadpole shrimp because of their similarity to frog tadpoles. Aquasaurs also resemble trilobites--extinct creatures that lived more than 500 million years ago. It's an aquarium-style habitat made of flexible plastic. A self-adhesive thermometer is provided to maintain water temperature.
