'Buddha as Teacher'
At the age of 29, Siddhartha Gautama (Buddha) left his family in pursuit of the truth. After six years he experienced the religious epiphanies that would become the basis of Buddhism. Sukaenah portrays the enlightened master as a teacher in an exquisite sculpture. Cast in bronze and bathed in radiant sterling silver (0.925), the statuette stands on a hardwood base.
