Glass mask, 'Ice God'
Elongated and mystical, a serene visage seems to drift in crystalline air. Gabriel and Rodolfo Lio Jaramillo craft this beautiful mask of blown glass, tinted in the cool colors ice. The piece includes a handmade display stand of iron � a candle dish permits it to be illuminated from behind. Because each mask is an expression of the artisan's individuality and creativity, no two are exactly alike. No molds are used, thus the dimensions could vary as much as +/- 1.5 cm (0.6 in).
